AN ORGANICALLY CREATIVE HANGOUT

Easel & Wheel Art Space: A boutique art/ceramic studio unlike any in Metro Detroit. A hip, decorative, comfy, de-institutionalized creative space with small classes for quality attention and interaction. It's an always-changing atmosphere that makes you want to hang out, mess around and have a great time. Course offerings include short, crafty sessions, parties, work events, formal study and art talks.

It's the whole experience for us - A VIBE. Easel & Wheel has big personality. We love highbrow & lowbrow fine art & kitsch; it reflects in our classes and studio aesthetic. We serve classes that will give you a sense of pride while you have fun refining skills/learning about process, regardless of skill level.

Great location, a short walk from Main Street in downtown Royal Oak, immersed in its vibrant social culture. We want to be a part of your night life, offering later classes geared toward having a great time with friends & dates.

A big ceramics house, we also teach other crafts, plus painting & drawing. Casual classes and formal courses, all guaranteed to teach valuable skills.

Our Boozy Field Trips to nearby bars is a great way to get in a nice walk, a cocktail and a little class meetup before we hit the art space for a fun project. The ParaFUNalia! series of classes allow for adult-themed ceramic projects that aren't found in programs where kids are integrated.

ART PATH PRO is our professional consultation and independent project program, using our art and art education expertise to work with you individually to help you find your favorite creative outlet by focusing on art that you select.
